Bloody Well Right

As Supertramp rocked out:

Right (right), you're bloody well right,
you got a bloody right to say.
Right, you're bloody well right,
you know you got a right to say.

Listen to Supertramp readers!  You have the right to comment on our posts regardless of whether or not you are an employee of the District.  That's right, do not be afraid to share your thoughts.  Since employees of the HCSD are not allowed to access this blog anymore from school they do not have to worry about violating any school district computer use policy.  Employees of the Hamburg Central School District should not fear expressing their voices on their own time on their own computers [click here for a brief listing of Supreme Court Cases describing the free speech rights of public employees].  Mr. Achramovitch's attempt to intimidate the employees of HCSD from reading and commenting on matters of public concern demonstrate the extreme lengths he will go to keep people from reading and commenting on this blog.  Well, we have a bloody well right and remember, Google stood up to China.

Then why have I had comments denied by you? some free speech.

Who will run against Wichlacz and Neyman in May? I suggest either Stephenson-Henneberg or Stephenson-Malican.

The actions and speech of the guilty reveal what is on their minds.

Achram and his RSB are hunkering down; circling the wagons. Based on input I've recently read, it's clear that they do so for good reason.

These buffoons now realize the tremendous up-tick in hits on your blog demonstrates two things; to wit: people are becoming increasingly concerned, and the opposition to the nefarious schemes and illegal maneuvering of this administration is growing exponentially.

Hamburger, don't concern yourself, the interest is there...this baby has taken off!
Remember the motto: Honi soit qui mal y pense!

AMEN TO THAT! I hear the new super didn't even introduce himself as the new super and greet everyone, he simply threatened them not to reply to this blog....go figure. Who died and left him boss!

So Steve left Greece to supposedly retire. (helped him to sneak in as a believable interim). How fortunate...NOT...for your school district that he decided to sacrifice his "retirement" and volunteer to be your superintendent. In reality he must have been asked to leave Greece because who in their right mind would voluntarily change location and take a job with a 20% salary reduction? It's the same job. And now he has 2 houses to support etc. And his reappearance has spawned another blog watchdog of education. Good to see the spirit of scats is spreading although it is your misfortune that you have our discarded super. Stay vigilant because his attempt to stop people from reading and commenting on your blog shows he is anxious at the scrutiny.

Can you believe the Super has nothing better to do than threaten law enforcement on people for using freedom of speech. I thought you would be interested in this concerned Hamburger:

Good afternoon:

I hope all is well on this last Friday before the holiday break.

The purpose of this communication is to make you aware of and ask for your assistance regarding a very important issue in the school district. It has recently been brought to my attention that inappropriate comments have been made about faculty, staff and students of the District. These comments have been posted on, among other places, websites frequented by members of the Hamburg community. It is not yet clear to us who posted these comments but we do know some of them are disparaging of members of the faculty and staff and in some cases harassing of staff and students.

Certainly, you will agree that such comments, either about faculty, staff or students is entirely unacceptable, in violation of our district policy, and could possibly be criminal in nature. We are taking these matters very seriously and have already contacted law enforcement to investigate. They will determine the source of the inappropriate comments and what further action is warranted.

I am bringing this to your attention for two reasons. First, if you have any information about who might be posting inappropriate or harassing comments on-line about students or staff, please contact me immediately. Together we must ensure all members of the Hamburg CSD community are safe, are treated with dignity and respect, and are free from any harassing behavior.

Second, I am requesting you all review the District's computer use policy, the District's harassment policy, and the District's civility policy which are attached at the end of this message. Given the prolific nature of on-line content, it is always a good idea to refresh memories of these policies and what is expected of all of us when it comes to on-line use and content.

Thank you for your attention and consideration of this very serious matter.

Enjoy the weekend and the upcoming holiday.

Steve

I like the Stephenson Henneberg combo, what would they do, if they had two intelligent outspoken individuals with minds of their own on our RBS

If you want free speech get your own blog as I have had my comments blocked too but I presume that they want to protect some privacy when certain comments get blocked

Someone should contact S and L Stephenson to run for BOE as a mother and daughter team.

Obviously, the SUPER is reading this blog...otherwise he would never have threatened district employees like this. Why does our SUPER want to limit what you hear or say???? What an unprofessional person!! Why does controversy follow this man? Is he the best the students and parents of this district could get?? We need competence people.

Hamburg employees- if you have important info to share, just don't use the school network or time.

Keep it professional.

The point of this blog is to expose the corrupt nature of the SB and administration over the past several years.

6:03am. That's the point about the new Supt. Why would he leave a district FOUR TIMES as big as Hamburg and then UNretire? Something doesn't add up? Has the SB stated his new salary?

To 1:40PM ~~ Is he reading this BLOG on work time? Using district computers? Hmmm ...

By the way, I checked the Monroe County Clerk's website (Rochester area) and see he still owns his home here. He is NOT taking any STAR exemption on it. A friend of mine tells me it appears he still owns a home in Ken-Ton, his home/place of employment prior to coming to Greece. That explains why he isn't taking the STAR exemption here - you can only take it on one residence. Don't expect him to actually purchase a third home in your area when he can easily commute from Ken-Ton, or be a weekday warrior ala Extended Stay America or rent a studio apartment instead. I'll let you know if/when I see or hear he sells either ;)

The insanity of it all said...

SCATS HE STILL OWNS HIS HOUSE IN KENTON, I WENT TO THE ERIE COUNTY PROPERTY SITE TODAY. SORRY, WE DONT DO EXTENDED STAY AMERICA, BUT WE HAVE A LOCAL MOTEL CALLED TALLY HO, I WILL CHECK FOR HIS ESCALADE WHEN DRIVING BY!!!

Writers are obviously infatuated with our new leader.
(especially the cat from the old district who can't let go). This is sick behavior. Stalking behavior. Searching public records, speculating about life outside of work, his whereabouts, residences. EWE!

BAAAA, BAAAA

SCATS said...

To 5:21PM ~~ Actually, people here are TICKLED PINK to have "passed the trash" (that's educational jargon for any newbies) successfully to Hamburg ... it means we are no longer on the financial hook for his lifetime health care benefits :)

Searching public records would behoove you so that you don't repeat your mistakes of the past ;)

Stevie tried to dodge buying a home here, too. It took him a full year after he committed himself to doing so.

I'll check back from time to time to see how things are going over here. I bet his old habits haven't changed one lick.

I am curious as to the other locations or websites referenced in the letter directed to district employees. Does anyone know? I am refering to the statement, "these comments have been posted on, among other places, websites frequented by members of the Hamburg community."

Pondering

How funny! 5:21s take on things is eye-opening. When board members or administrators research citizens, it's called 'security' but when citizens do it to administrators or school board members it's called 'stalking.'

Aren't they called PUBLIC records?

I can't wait till they all have to answer for their actions! Payback is such a wonderful thing!

SCATS said...

To Veggieburger ~~ I'm pretty certain Steve was referring to SCATS BLOG as one site, a thorn in his side during his entire tenure in Greece.

Regardless of the cyber location these opinions have been expressed, many issues remain in limbo. One concern I have is the fact that attempts at intimidating teachers, other administrators, and even the public are still being employed particularly by men and women who are to exemplify honesty, integrity, and character as role models in the HSD. If a solution were really desired by each member involved, would it not be more reasonable to address the concerns, repair breaches of trust, and build a foundation with truthful communication as the cornerstone? There is quite a bit of damage control around the BOE and new Superintendent, much of it self-imposed because of idle, careless musings and inappropriate behavior. This seems extremely counterproductive to the mantra the we have the best interests of "the kids" as our center. Since mature adults would acknowledge that no one is completely right, all of the time, surely the BOE and/or the Superintendent may come to the realization that their ownership of the wrongs should be addressed. It would be a great olive branch to offer in the best interest of "the kids". I wonder if there is enough courage and humility among the group for this to happen.

To Veggieburger ~ I agree with your views! Good luck with it though. In Greece, the BOE seems to have an attitude that they are so darned smart they know better than everyone else, especially the voters. As soon as someone gets elected and takes the oath of office, they change into some power hungry know-it-all type who puts politics to the forefront of running the district. The kids and the taxpayers lose.
