January 10th Meeting on YouTube

After the teachers give away one of their strongest bargaining chips, APPR, I hope the teachers are ready for a wage freeze.  Hopefully someone does the research on the long term impact of wage freezes.

A wage fressze will ot save jobs. jobs will be lost regardless. HTA - don't settle your contract - you're better riding the wave. Maybe the public will wake up and start realizing what is going on when programs are cut and class sizes increase. Noone wants to pay more taxes - but everyone wants the best from their schools. Its a problem w/ no easy solution. But all sides need to wake up and start working together to fix the problems. BTW - are the administrators taking a freeze / and or cut?

Joan always wearing sweats..maybe absorbing the sweat she goes thru each and every meeting.

The Superintendent is talking about a 650K 3 year grant. The application is due 1-13-11, and requires that APPR be approved and in place for the 2011-12 school year. Ummm, the BOE was lied to and told HTA voted yes on APPR, when THEY NEVER VOTED ON IT!!!! The President and Chief Negotiator cant get their lies together, so the vote fell thru, b/c teacher at the HHS saw thru the mess. NO APPR BOE...once again you were fooled by your blind trust of stevie the snake.

Shame on you Joan calkins and patty Bruner, you have wrecked this district. The art department is so important for our children and their lifelong love of learning, and you nasty women cut their jobs. Nice job patty showing up late again. Where we're you? The bar having a cocktail? Looks like you wre with dils. His head is so red I think he was sunburn. Shame on Joan calkins, she ruined this district.

FYI

Has anyone ever noticed how ARMOR has small class sizes? Could it be that they are in the ADMINISTRATION'S pocket?

Just an observation.

Thanks for bringing us the sb meeting;.

Armor kids did a great presentation so did the Art Dept.

Now that being said why the loyality to this Supt. or administration that forced our once wonderful Principal MaryEllen to retire? It says a lot for the character and lack of friendship toward her. Maybe that is why Kelly Harper resigned.

FYI,
Achramovitch, when Bob Madden was asking questions told Joan Calkins"lets get this meeting going" didn't like that Mr Madden was bringing up some good points.

I agree Bob Madden for School Board President.

So let's get this community together. We have 5 months - lets meet and get some intelligent people elected to this sb. We can't wait for the HTA. Parents and interested parties lets put our words into actions and get the word out. Running for office alone is difficult, but with the backing of a group could actually get the job done.

Good Idea about School Board Members. Concerned Hamburger is willing to help get the word out for good candidates. Hamburg needs BOE members that do no have a personal agenda. Too many BOE members over the last few years have hate in their hearts...look at calkins, brunner collins, wichlacz, moses rucker, osbourne etc...... Concerned, please help.....

So come on concerned hamburger - lets form a community group to get some good people elected. tell me when and where. Its time we branched out of this site and really put ourselves out there. Its up to those of us not on the hamburg payroll, with nothing to fear except a school board that is tanking our childrens' educations, to mobilize.

Waste of human resources to have the boe circus travel around the district. If the boe had one spot, like all normal boes, they could do their business. Instead they are trying to do a distraction. Get a clue boe and Steve. Wait Until may.
