For behold it came to pass

video

At the June 2012 Board of Education, the outgoing Board extended Achramo's labor contract until June 2015.  The act of malfeasance by the outgoing 2012 Board saddled the taxpayers of Hamburg with the likes of Mr. Achramovitch until 2015.

In May of 2013, a revolution took place in the Hamburg Central School District.  The voters spoke and removed  Dr. Joan Calkins from the Board of Education. The majority of voters believe Joan  to be at the root of the problems in Hamburg.

So now many questions remain.  In June 2012, Sally Stephenson, who was not seated on the Board of Education, told about a revolution and like all utterances of Sally it came to pass.

One big  question remains to be answered, what will become of Mr. Achramovitch?

Will the new Board find some shred of decency in the man?
Or will they put him to the curb for his twisted and tangled ways?

Achramo is done. The sands of the hourglass have nearly run out. Dils, Calkins and Achramo have all been eliminated.

That video shows a woman who is very rude and low class.

I wonder how hung over Patty feels now. Word is that her and flynn will be forced to sit on the "ends" at board meetings. They can pound salt.

Obviously Anonymous 4:36 does not have a voice, "Dumb Ass PBC", because her comment was deleted like ALL OTHER comments that say anything good about the current school board. This blog's dedication to the US Constitution is a farce. Try protecting free speech yourself, "Concerned". I think a better title for you would be "Hypocrite".

Commenter 12:15-- Just because one supports the Constitution DOES not mean that person is NOT a hypocrite. For Gods Sake, dont ya know the founding fathers were slave owners. It seems to me, you must be one of those Hamburg graduates. Hamburg Schools have sunk to the lowest of the low- now they use Lucy Calkins writing- the last cling on to whole language. Lucy Calkins and Joan Calkins should be nowhere near kids!!!

Really Bloggers,
We are still doing the name calling thing. There's one meeting to go with the old board. Lets start moving on.

Sad, if the new school board considers keeping Steve Achramovitch on here any longer. A loud and clear message was sent to all the current and newly elected school board members, Steve Achramovitch has to go. Joan Calkins lost because of her refusal to except that Achramo has demonstrated poor dishonest leaderhip. Just stating the obvious.

Now that there is a new board, I hope this blog encourages policies that are in the best interest of our students. Yes, a new board was in the best interest of our students, teachers and taxpayers but we need more analysis of how the taxpayer resources are being spent. AP classes of 10-15 students, and 'Blended' classes of 23 to 27? Something is definitely not right there. The lack of professional development at HHS is laughable, The HS is horribly out of sync with the requirements of the common core. the district needs to stop inexplicably taking development days away. The district is going to look like idiots when our students are required to take the common core ELA exam in 3 years!

The name calling does bother me. I always think you can convince more people to see your point of view if you present facts and logical reasoning, not anger. However, I also think this blog is a place for people to vent frustration with people and a situation that they don't feel safe venting on elsewhere. My question is, what is Concerned going to do now that he has a majority of the Board in his corner? The post on the end of 8th grade teaming is the kind of thing that serves the kids and teachers of Hamburg-- looking into questionable decisions of administration and making sure the public is informed. It might not have got a lot of comments, but that's what we really need. Even if the new board somehow buys out the superintendent (And would that REALLY be a good use of our limited $?), we can still use an independent voice looking into Hamburg's inner workings. I'm no huge fan of the superintendent, but trust me, there are NOT a lot of highly qualified candidates out there. There's no guarantee that what we would get would be any better than what we have now.

Just about anyone who is Honest and meets the requirements for a administrator will be better then achrmovitch. Achramovitch is dishonest and sneaky, uncaring individual. How long did he teach in a class room?
Achramovitchs track room in the only two districts that he has served has been a disaster. A disaster here also.
Achramovitch has to go. Keep him and this school district will continue to strike back. Maple Ave parents and alumni.

OK, let's see if this comment gets posted because the last couple haven't made it. So you want to get rid of Steve? Do you really want to have the district eat his contract? Maybe more money wasted? Why wouldn't you just want to manage his expectations? Next, why don't some of these teachers that think the administration is that bad get their certificates to be administrators? Too much work and responsibility? Come on, quit beating the crap out of people personally and focus on how to make things better? It's real easy to complain, it's much harder to step up and try to fix the problems.

9:52 maybe those teachers do have admin certification. Manage Steve? He is a liar- manage that!

If Steve was smart he'd meet with all teachers and get some dialog going...
Not just the hand picked shills.

Hey Joan,

No one cares that you are gone. No marching band, no cake, no flowers, no ceremony, no silver apple,,,,,....nothing.....when your last meeting ended they let you leave without anyone saying one word....has it hit you yet? You did a shit job on the board and people are glad to see you go.

Does anyone know what Special BOE meeting on June 20 is about?

Hamburg is very lucky to have Dave Yoviene, Catherine Schrauth Forcucci and Laura Heeter on the Board of Education. Our Children, Taxpayers and Teachers will reap the rewards.

the morale is low, steve lies, cannot be trusted, by staff, so how can anyone expect steve to lead when he gives dishonest and self serving advise. please anyone if you cannot trust a man you cannot work with him. in order for us to move into the positive future we must remove the dark cloud hanging over our district steve achramovitch. i agree with previous writer, joan calkins would not listen that he is a bad fit for hamburg. the first time he was caught lying should have been the last. a little research would have told the past school board steves not so good history as a supt. say good bye to him and move on, the school district will heal only then. parents of 3

FYI

a part of the Hamburg Democratic Committee ran Joan Calkins and Shiela Rhulands campaign. Dan Chia at the head.

Many teachers have administrative certification, so yes there is a pool of candidates right here. Anyone of them would do a much better job than Steve Achramo. He is the reason for the poor morale and a school board that simply would not listen.
Steve Achramo cultivated FEAR in this school district and this is how he ruled. Say good bye to him STAT

It is rumored the sb meeting on the 20th is called to pass Lucy Calkins reading and writing program and to pass huge $$ increase in pay contracts for administrators. Well we rank 85th in pay out of a hundred schools. Why not make the pay scale differece that much greater between teacher and administrator. They are doing such a good job (laugh). We are the everyday people who care about our kids.

Put steve Achramovitch to the road for his twisted and tangled ways.
