Hamburg School Foundation alerted Concerned Hamburger to an opening on their Board.

The Hamburg Alumni Foundation is looking for one new board member to fill a vacancy. The person must be a Hamburg School District  graduate and preferably someone with website skills. Please send resume to Hamburg Alumni Foundation PO Box 174 Hamburg, NY 14075.   They did not suggest who resigned, and why,  from the board of the foundation.

First of all, it's the Hamburg Alumni Foundation. Second, why do you think someone resigned and why would that matter? One of the board member's term expired and they choose not to serve another three years. Very simple.

7:43- thats what the email said. Thought we were being helpful. It was sent by a prominent member of the school community. Corrections are noted.

Did the old fart Ed Osbourne finally give it up? That guy is super sketchy. What did ever happen to all the money and the 90K Ed moved around? Super freak.

As a matter of fact it was Ed that decided that he had put in enough years on the board. Thirteen years to be exact. To answer your question on the money. The money was returned to the district with interest for the time the Foundation held the money, which was only a couple of months. Once the Foundation board was notified that the money was originally earmarked for the district it was immediately returned. What else do you want to know?

McSwan and Robbin List are good old buddies so keep that in mind when you see the support pouring out - may have a personal relationship. Dr. Geelan is smart and driven to bring the district forward. She is the superior choice.

And Ed Osborne gave over 42 years of his heart and soul to this district prior to retiring and then chipped in another 14 on the Hamburg Alumni Foundation, what is your problem with him??? He was a HUGE asset to the district throughout those years.

Name three things that Hamburg Schools and North Korea have in common?

Does HR charge the district to monitor the blog, or do they save that snooping around for DIGITS?
